Celper started as a classroom experiment with one question: could we build AI that actually helps with hiring — faster, fairer, smarter? A year later, the answer was interviewing candidates by phone.

We didn’t start in an accelerator or a boardroom. We started between lectures — three students who kept hearing the same complaint from every recruiter we met: the first round eats the week.
“We pulled late nights, took meetings between classes, and shipped half-broken features just to test what might work.”
What worked became Celper: AI that runs first-round interviews by phone, screens CVs in minutes, and writes reports a hiring manager can actually argue with. The awards came later — the late nights came first.
Today Celper is built and run from Vilnius, Lithuania, by Vizionieriai, MB — and the rule from day one still stands: AI does the first round, a human makes every final decision.
