What does CV screening do?

Is it fair and does it reduce bias?

Every CV is scored against the same role criteria, so applications are compared consistently rather than on a recruiter’s gut feel or the order they arrive. Each score is explainable, which helps surface and reduce bias in the first pass.

Can I see why a candidate was ranked highly?

Yes. Celper attaches its reasoning to every score, so you can see exactly which role criteria a candidate met before you open a conversation — the same explainable approach used across Celper’s candidate reports.

Does CV screening cost extra?

No. CV screening is included with every Celper plan at no extra cost, alongside reports and the HR dashboard. You only spend a credit when you run a completed phone or avatar interview.

Does a human still make the decision?

Always. CV screening ranks and explains, but a candidate cannot be set to Selected or Rejected until a person reviews the analysis — in line with EU AI Act Article 14 and GDPR Article 22.
